The Newcastle branch of Stop AIDS is an active group whose main aims are to use local action to tackle the global problem of HIV/AIDS. This is through hosting fundraising events, raising awareness and campaigning about the key issues central to HIV/AIDS. In addition to this we provide both community and international action through several other projects. We hold regular events to raise awareness of HIV/AIDS and to raise money for both local and international AIDS charities. We also run projects in local schools to supplement HIV education and raise awareness of the AIDS problem worldwide.
